What is the Bay to Beacon?

The Bay to Beacon is an annual non-profit road race in Harrisville, Michigan. We host 4 distances: a kid’s one miler, a 5k, a 10k, and our signature half marathon. All courses are run along the coast of Lake Huron and finish with a beautiful view of the lake – with the opportunity for a post-race swim ;).

The profits of the race go towards 3 local beneficiaries supporting mental health, protecting the environment, and preserving local history. We aim to maximize our support to these amazing causes while presenting an amazing weekend for our community.

We believe that the Bay to Beacon is fanastic opportunity for a weekend destination race or your first attempt at a 5k. Our race highlights a beautiful, fast, and flat course; a start and finish in 2 different state parks; a community like feel with a pre-race pancake dinner; and some of the best volunteers around! Come join us this year and explore all that Northeastern Michigan has to offer.
