- Are there tech shirts and medals?
- Yes, T-shirts and medals will be given to participants, as well as some other fun goodies!
Course
- Is there hydration given on the course?
- Yes, hydration will be given on the course thanks to the support of volunteers.
- Are there porta-potties along the race route?
- Yes. See the “Maps” page for details.
- Are there refreshments after the race?
- Yes, bananas, granola bars, and water will be provided by race volunteers.
- Can I run with a stroller?
- Yes, you are welcome to run with a stroller.
- Can I run with my dog?
- While we love dogs, for the safety of racers we ask that you do not race with your pup. Spectators are welcome to bring leashed, furry friends to the start/finish line.
- Is the course closed to traffic?
- The course is not closed to traffic. We mark the course with cones and have volunteers stand at crossroads and intersections where necessary.
Lodging
- Where is the best lodging nearby?
- There are several cabin, campground, motel, Airbnb, and VRBO options in the area. We recommend booking early as places typically fill up during the summer!

Race Logistics:
- Is there parking?
- Yes! Please see the Parking subpage for more information.
- Is a shuttle available?
- YES! A shuttle will be available to drive HM participants from the finish line to the start line AFTER the race.
- Is there pre-race packet pickup?
- Yes, there is pre-race packet pickup August 14th, 2026. You can pick up your packet the night before at the pancake dinner (see packet pickup page) or you can pick up your packet the morning of the race.
- What if I can’t race after I register – can I defer?
- No, Bay to Beacon does not offer deferrals for participants who cannot race after registration.
